Choosing the right software is hard.
There are lots of good options and every sales rep will tell you they are the best.
But are they really? Is the grass really greener on the other side? Maybe - it depends.

The best option for your firm depends on a number of factors:
-
What kinds of law do you practice?
-
How many people work at your firm and how old are they?
-
What kind of training and support are included?
-
Do you use PCs, MACs, or both?
-
How much does the software cost?
-
How easy is it to move into (and out of) of the new software?
-
How long will the migration take? What really migrates and what doesn't?
-
What isn't your sales rep telling you?

Our team will meet with you at no cost to help you determine the best option for your firm.

Suggestions for Choosing Vendors
We have received reports alleging that when a law firm wants to leave certain products, the vendor may interfere/interrupt the firm's ability to leave by doing one or more of the following:
-
Prohibit, deny, or charge for API access so firms cannot reliably backup their data
-
Massively throttle download speeds so backups take weeks/months
-
Block IP addresses or disable user accounts that attempt to create backups
-
Provide incomplete backups or CSVs that lack key information

We actively discourage firms from engaging with vendors who participate in actions like this.
If you work with a vendor who impedes your ability to separate from them, please file a report with us.
